Thinking about moving... -
7/12/2006I'm originally from Rushville, IN. and now live in Prescott, AZ. I'm a Registered Nurse and am considering moving back to Indiana part-time. How is healthcare in the Columbus area? Are you happy with you local hospital?

7/12/2006I moved to Prescott from the Midwest. Yes, the cost of living is higher here than the Midwest and other parts of Arizona, but the weather year round and the vast amount of outdoor activities makes up for it.
Prescott has a lovely hometown feel, even though it's grown quite a bit since I first moved here.
We don't have to go to Phoenix anymore to shop, find great restaurants or night life or to find adequate healthcare. I'm employed at YRMC, our local hospital, and if I need any type of medical attention, that's where I want to go. I'm proud to work there.
Yes, Californians are moving here, do you blame them? Unless we're native to Prescott, or Arizona for that fact, we're all from somewhere, right? Those of us who've chosen to move here share the 'blame' for the growth I believe. We're Americans no matter what state we came from, so let's stop bashing each other.
