Born at Holston Valley Hospital in 1948. Raised in Mt. Carmel and went to Church Hill High School..graduated 1966. Trained and went to school at Holston Valley Medical Center as a Medical Laboratory Technician being licensed in 1969. Have recently retired due to disability from Holston Medical Group. I am married to Harold Roberts for 18 years. I have two sons, Tyler who is married to Nicole and they have my beautiful grandchildren, Lane and Morgan. My other son, Preston lives with Amber and Matthew who we hope to be part of our family soon. I have two brothers who live close by. They and their families make up our Family Circle. Many friends and a few other relatives make this home. I am a Repulican, Southern Baptist, conservative, Christian baby boomer. I love to cook, read, camp (in a camper now), decorate, interact with friends and do anything my grandchildren want to do!

All I Have to do is Look Out My Window - 4/3/2008
Looking out my back window tells me that this is the place for me. I can see most of Kingsport from my back deck. Bays Mountain, both hospitals, downtown, the snow in winter, the color of autumn, everything in bloom and the mountains turning green in summer! I see many churchs, schools, hospitals, parks, shopping areas, transit systems, etc. Short distances away are the world renowned Barter Theatre, the UT Vols, Biltmore, and many more cultural and entertaining spots. Churches of every denomination, schools that are excellent, wildlife to see, lakes to enjoy are at every turn in the road. Quality of life...what more could you ask for?
