Lacey is very beautiful, however it’s become near impossible to afford living here. Besides the out doors activity there’s really nothing here, so I don’t get why it cost 1500 a month for a two bed room apartment?? The only thing I can guess is that land lords are catering to the military base people. Knowing they get BHS they take a very unfair advantage of that and in turn screw the local residents trying to survive. With the avaerage income of 27,000 a person and 56,000 a family that makes it almost impossible to live here and I think that crap. Also the homeless population is ridiculous at almost every street corner or just walking down the street there are homeless ppl everywhere. I think this is very sad that people are doing this to the local citizen and should not be able to but that’s capitalism for ya forget the little ppl.
