Don't move here... -
7/10/2009Deltona has really been hit hard with the economy. Many people have moved out and you see so many empty houses all throughout Deltona. Deltona has a lot of renters.
There are some nice sections here and Dewey OBooster park is spectacular. Still, there's not much for young adults to do. Our van got broken into along with about 9 other cars by an 18 and 20 year old. Also, recentlyh, A woman was attacked in broad daylight at a local grocery store at gunpoint. I don't feel as secure as I once did. I am anxious to leave Deltona. I do love the location (midway between Orlando and Daytona Beach) and love my home, but the area definately has changed and NOT for the better.
