Its not the Place to be. -
8/16/2021Brookings is an interesting place, very nice scenery, and excellent weather.
The "locals" who inhabit this place are some of the most ignorant biased people you will ever find. if you want to move there, you had better be white and have a lot of money. They REALLY don't like "outsiders". the local property management companies
strive to control who lives there. Many of the people who work here do not live in Brookings. My son attended Azealia middle school, and it was a joke. The town was basically founded by whites who slaughtered the local native americans, and stole
there land. Its really just a **** hole of a town.
