Great place to work and live -
7/14/2022I work in Sumter. I have been thoroughly impressed by the talent that lives in the area. Folks who get it done.
In terms of a place to live. Though Sumter has a little bit of a tough history, there are many folks working to make Sumter a truly great place to live. To see that effort you only need to compare the downtown of 10 years ago to today. There are wonderful restaurants, the Sumter Original Brewery, and a new Hyatt place hotel. There is also great work being done to put a world class Charter school structure in place to further draw talent and enable local kids who have the will to achieve to do something great. I am considering purchasing a home here.
