Too many damn carpetbaggers have come down here an tried to imitate the whole southern thing and it has turned Middle TN into a damn joke. I was born and raised in the 615 but boy have I watched it change overall and not for the better. There's really not much "southern hospitality" anymore and is looking like Atlanta, Jr. It seems that middle TN attracts affluent, pretentious northerners who want to want to escape tax codes but want to ease their conscience by building multimillion dollar megachurches. Oftentimes you forget that you're in the south unless you seem some kind of novelty small business trying to capitalize on the fact that Nashville just so happens to be south of Mason-Dixon line.
