Warm and Friendly Place -
1/25/2022Possibly a 5 Star Place to live. No concerns about crime in Leland. The only reason I would not give 5 stars would be: town is still developing--so not everything is here just yet. However, they have a great foundation of commercial and residential areas.
Climate is incredible! Mild Winter--sure it gets cold but not frigid cold like up North. Close to both Brunswick County Beaches and Wilmington. So yes summers are humid (your on the east coast what do you expect?) however, on the islands (beaches) you get a gentle island breeze.
Hurricanes are a fact of life here. However, they have their season. Pray and evacuate is my strategy!
