No mosquitos! -
4/7/2008If you like snow and low humidity, Colorado is the spot for you. Summers can be hot but with it feels cooler because of the lower humidity. Conversely, the winters are milder because of the higher altitude. The sun feels warmer in the winter so if you're outdoors in December, you might have to remove your jacket. We don't have that many mosquitos here, especially up in the foothills. We live in Coal Creek Canyon and we saw perhaps 2 mosquitos all summer last year.
It's very common to have snow one day and 60-degree weather the next. This truly is a great place to live.
