2/28/2008Pembroke Pines is a decent place to live. Unlike much of South Florida, it has no serious traffic and overpopulation problems. It has relatively low housing costs, no tall buildings, verdant landscaping (especially in the western area of the city) , and plenty of shopping opportunities. The downsides are, rising crime, overdevelopment, rising cost of living, and a rather unfriendly and indifferent population.
