Maltby, WA
Quiet Country Living within reach of valuable plac -
8/18/2014Maltby Washington is a small community, (a little pocket of "Heaven") located near several wonderful cities and suburbs not too far from Seattle, Redmond, Bellevue and Everett Washington. The location is perfect because it has an easy access to Hi-405 and I-5 and also 522 and Hi-9...Thus, it is easy to drive to most of the important areas (within a 15 mile radius) from Seattle all the way up to Everett (& surrounding areas). The area of Maltby is a sort of "de-stressor" and a "sanctuary" for those people working in high stress jobs because after work, it is so lovely to drive home to a pretty tree-lined area , so clean and quiet, & surrounded by nature, trails, parks, little lakes (etc). Many people that work at Boeing or Microsoft or in Seattle live in Maltby or near Maltby. The neighborhoods here are well maintained and the schools are of excellent quality. The home prices range, depending on how much acreage a homeowner has. Often, the more land, and then of course , the higher the home prices. However, for families with 1,2,3,4 children for example, the cost is worth it because the children will encounter many positive experiences, great friends and nice memories for their future. Homes here range in size...from 2 bedroom to 5 bedrooms....Many homes have at least 1/2 an acre...Quite a few homes have one acre to 4 acres...The thing that is so amazing is that the neighborhood have a "park like setting"....even those homes in the $300 to 500K range. Maltby's location is perfect for bike riding (many bike trails), outdoor sports,and also for exploring the nice towns all over the area. Therefore, if a person wants to take in a day of antiquing, then they can stop by the quaint town of Snohomish. Or if a person wants to go out to a nice dinner, then there are many fine restaurants in Bellevue,Redmond, Seattle,Woodinville,Everett, etc...There are so many choices, and as I said above, Maltby is a "bit of Heaven". My family has lived her for over 16 years, and before that period, we lived near Bothell for over 14 years (ie: Bothell being one of the other nice little towns near Maltby).
