10/5/2012So you lived here as a young child? Hardly an objective viewpoint. Anyways, I don't know what you mean by nothing for young people to do. We, meaning my brothers and I, rode bikes, played basketball, had paper routes, active in church, etc. We also camped,hiked, fished and learned mountain climbing in the mountains the nearby mountains. A kid can play video games anywhere, but he can't experience the great outdoors as freely in most cities as he can in Worland.

10/5/2012Some false information regarding Walmart and Pamida. The decision to not come to Worland was due to the economy, not the city. Surely you realize that a Walmart in Worland would have caused our Pamida store to close. Also, Ace Hardware was looking to move out by the Walmart location. This would leave two large empty retail spaces down town. So...it's easy to see why some residents are not sad that Walmart is not coming. Pamida has merged with Shopko. They are currently involved in remodeling the store and rebranding to Shopko hometown. Also, the foul odors you mentioned represent money being made. Should we get rid of the odors for your comfort? This would be very harmful to our economy. I'm not sure what industry you are in, but I'm sure that this would force you to relocate elsewhere or retire early. Leaving Worland when you retire because your kids say they will never return???? Who runs your family? Listen, I said I would never come back. Scores of my classmates said they would never come back. And yet many of us did.
