I grew up here! - 6/18/2009
I have good things and bad things to say about Texarkana! The town itself is beautiful and it is a good place to retire for older people(but im not retiring here)...as for a younger person...its definitely not a city for you and when you get old enough to leave you definitely need to do so! I grew up here, and unfortunately i had to come back for a little while to help out my family with my mom..and its like i never left! Its still the same town with a lot of narrow minded people(not everyone but a lot), its sad that its 2009 and the majority(not all) of the people's mentality here is in 60's it seems...as soon as i can get everything i need to do together. Im leaving..
