Los Angeles vs. Miami -
11/15/2009Miami is one of the most beautiful cities in the country, with its bridges and water access, clear skies and gorgeous beaches. It's vibrant with lots to do on any day or night of the week. Although locals complain about traffic, compared to LA, there is no comparison. However, after relocating here from Los Angeles nearly 6 years ago, Miami has gotten very expensive since we arrived and to make matters worse, the salaries are half of what they are in Los Angeles. This move made sense at the time, but the deal killer is that the taxes in the City of Miami are nearly 3 times ($7,000)vs LA and the homeowner's insurance is nearly 1,000 times more per year ($8,000).
