SF- Small, Chamring..unique - 4/6/2006
San Francisco is definitely a unique blend of diversity and culture. I must admit I feel spoiled living here because I feel we have the best food in the nation. With close proximity to the Wine Country, SF boasts some of the best restaurants I have ever been to. SF allows access to every cuisine imaginable. SF offers small distinct neighborhoods which are rich with ethic culture and lots of colorful people from all walks of life. Many of my friends from Europe who have visited have pointed out many similarities to to major european cities. SF is small, charming and full of character. One thing is certain, there is definitely a strong sense of community here. The downside to SF is the cost of living but salaries tend to reflect that. I have lived here for 12 years and definitely consider SF my home. It's no many remark, "I left my hear in San Francisco"!
