The 2011 sold market stats according to Navica MLS Systems, our local MLS Data program shows the average home value in Greenwood County is $133,357, 347 homes, condos, duplexes or manufactured homes sold from 1/1/2011 to 11/2/2011. There are 427 of these type properties on the market as of 11/2/2011. Out of all the active listings only 7 of those are bank owned homes. The average price of these bank owned properties is $50,286.
This compared to last years sold statistic for the same time frame show
356 homes, condos, duplexes or manufactured homes sold from 1/1/2010 to 11/2/2010 sold and the average sold price was $134,294 There were 25 bank owned properties sold in this time frame with the average sold price of 497,047 These statistics show improvement in the real estate market in Greenwood and along with that we've seen several new businesses come into the area in the last year bringing employment opportunities with them.
