4/13/2015HMMMM, Allan are you sure you're not describing Tennessee? Everything you stated is word for word Tennessee, as a matter of fact I cannot wait to get the hell out of TN and go back to FL! Speaking of nuclear reactors what do you think the TVA is all about. I can tell that you most likely grew up in TN and all your clothes are orange with a big dumba$$ T on them! I'd be more than happy to sell you my house here so I can get out.

2/3/2015 We are thinking about moving back to FLA. I grew up in the Orlando area and knew Port Orange as a laid back coastal town. Is it still like that, if so are there any areas I should avoid for housing?

1/19/2015Sam, you must really hate the military. Be thankful for us because if not for us you may not have the freedom to write such negative comments about us. Maybe you tried to get into the service but failed the ASVAB due to a low IQ. Sounds like you would fit in better in a frat house with immature boys.

3/8/2014I have lived in many areas of the USA and been to 22 countries. After moving here from Florida I find this place to be the most narrow-minded backwards place I've see. Religion is over the top and if you plan on having friends forget about it if you're not from here because you will be viewed as an outsider. I can't wait to sell my house and move back to Florida.

Worse place for a social life. -
3/8/2014I moved here from Orlando FL. I had many friends there but here is like a whole new planet. Here the people treat you as an outsider and unless you go to church forget about it, you will never have many friends. I am very friendly and outgoing but this place is not. I have never lived in such a backward place. Sure the outdoor life here is ok if you're into sports. I cannot wait until I can go back to FL and never look back.

Peaceful Country Living -
12/17/2011I have lived here in the country 4 years since moving from Florida. I am 25mi North of Chatt (Thankfully). The crime here is very low, usually a Hatfield and McCoy type, like cousin against cousin, but nothing compared to downtown Chatt. The housing is very affordable especially for what you can get. It is beautiful here and very scenic. This place is fine peaceful country living, I look out my back door and see trees, land, cows, and a donkey. Not high rises and roving gangs of thugs.

Crime is awful -
12/17/2011I moved here from crime ridden central Florida a few years ago. Over those few years the crime has escalated profoundly. I am very thankful to have moved to the county where it isn't bad.
