You've been here since the 70's..... we just moved here.

What happened? Someone said - an Equity firm came in like locusts - stripped out the businesses and left the rubble. Freeport used to be the 4th largest manufacturing area in the State. Used to hold a lot of high paying office jobs too. Would love to know who the Equity firm was - someone said it was a company that Mitt Romney was a partner in - they ate up everything of value and carried it away.

Any insight?
