I am 37 year old mother of 5 children. Their ages range from 3 - 14. I have been married 10 years. We reside in Bakersfield, California for 3 years now. All though we like living in Bakersfield we are still looking for the dream destination to raise our family. We are not oppose to moving out of state, since we have always lived in California. At this stage in my life I am looking for a new life style and a healthy way to live for my family. When I am comparing between locations I look at the comfort rating and air quality. In Bakersfield we have poor air quality and our summers are hot. I would love to live by the water where the temperature do not get to hot.

Bakersfield - 10/24/2009
I have lived in Bakersfield for 3 years now and I love it here. I lived in Stockton for over 30 years of my life and never thought I would call any where else home, but now I can't imagine ever moving back. The people are friendly, there is plenty to do and I am very optimistic about future growth here. Within the next few years they will begin construction of a bullet train and I believe that will kick start our growth and economy. The one thing I am concerned about is our air quality. We are on the top 10 in the nation having the worst air quality. Hopefully the bullet train will help clear the air.
