3/26/2021Sounds like you need to go back to LA or the Bay Area. Too many people from LA and the Bay Area moved into Bakersfield and brought with you the bad stuck up attitudes, terrible air quality and your crappy driving. Do not complain about the same stuff the people from your own area brought here by moving here themselves.

3/26/2021You have lived here for 25 years and you think its not that bad??? LOL. I lived here since the late 70s when Bakersfield was actually a decent place to live and have seen it go way downhill as years have passed. There are many reasons why this city sucks and why it IS as bad as it is. Glad you seem to think its such a wonderful place to live but the FACTS are is that it isnt. Unemployment rate is one of the highest in the state. Same with the state sales tax and gas prices. Most of the decent areas I remember growing up are now filled with crime. Pretty much the most decent or safest areas to live are out in Rosedale or way out of town by the Canyon. Bakersfield has become run down and dirty. Filled with homeless everywhere. Even Rosedale has tons of homeless everywhere. No sense of community in Bakersfield. High crime. If you want to post up facts, you may want to do better research.
