Boy, did you nail it! My husband is from Wyoming and he refers to the women in his small town of 170 as the "local breeding stock". I think that says it all. California may have its issues, but I'm much happier there than in Wyoming! Most of WY is pretty miserable for most of the year. Brown and boring. Windy and treeless. Ugh. I only had to do it for a year, but that's about all I could stand.
