Climate & Livability - 8/7/2007
Orting is a small town near the base of Mt. Rainier. The weather is pretty nice during the summer and fall. Do have many days during the winter that can be overcast all day. We don't have severe winters and snow is really not an issue. It comes and then goes. It can cause driving issues for the near term until it melts. But we have had winters with no snow at all. Home developments have caused problems with traffic congestion. It's beautiful country and there are plenty of things to see and do.
