Lots of lakefront parks -
3/6/2009Early planners of the City of Kenosha made sure that there were a number of parks along the shore of Lake Michigan and over the years, there have been many improvements to the lakefront parks. Some of these have beaches, others offer fishing piers, boat launches, marinas, bandshells, bike and walking paths and often feature festivals and other summer events. Harborpark features an open air market on Saturday mornings and has a tot park that includes fountains for splashing in. Harborpark includes museums and a trolly that loops through the neighborhood. The lakefront is the place to be when the weather is nice.
