10/5/2013Well JB, you seem to be a really unhappy person. I don't think it would matter where you lived! You'd be writing the same rant about that place too.
You're right, some of the municipal planning seems silly today, but if you look down the road ten years it'll make more sense. Congestion? Yes, a bit, but it's improving with the new road expansions... Obviously you've never seen real traffic. You've lived a sheltered life. This is nothing compared to the relentless soul sucking life in So Cal.
Bitching because they have a sense of community here? How dare they! How about having a town that can't keep the libraries open.. or not having the police come when you have an accident or robbery? This is what I left when I came here. You're complaining about nothing.
Having come from Los Angeles 10 years ago, I feel like I've died and gone to heaven. If you want a taste of misery, head there.
You'll find lot's of other unhappy people there to keep you company.
