Arlington. A parent's paradise. -
6/10/2008Great if you want to raise a family. There are great schools, lots of actvities for children, i.e. Six Flags, Wet n Wild, The Ballapark where the Texas Rangers play, the new Cowboy stadium openeing in 2009, and it's just a short drive to Dallas or Fort worth where there's even more. Not ideal for singles though. If you're moving here as a young professional, the action is better in the Dallas area. Try Uptown, or the Las Colinas/Valley Ranch area. Even Lewisville, Plano or Frisco would be better. More people in their twenties live in those areas, and the activies and nightlife cater to those people.
