I am an MTSU alum with a bachellor's degree in Entrepreneurship and a master's degree in business education. I spent 4 years as a high school business teacher and then life happened. I am now a Realtor and am loving every minute of it. I specialize in the Rutherford County area and the southern sliver of Nashville. When I am not working, I am playing with my son, riding a motorcycle or doing something with my friends or family. I like board games but I am not boring! Why Smyrna? - 3/10/2011
I've lived in Smyrna for 26 years. I am currently a Realtor in this area. Smyrna is truly a fantastic place to live. We have easy access to Nashville and all the big city stuff (less than 20 miles). At the same time, Smyrna still holds on to that small town charm. There are tons of things to do in town--movie theater, bowling, skating, senior citizens center, tons of parks, greenway trails, boat ramps, a tremendous little league program in almost every sport, a town center with fitness center and pool, the YMCA with an indoor pool, great shopping, and so much more. We have any kind of restaurant you could want, all the community organizations for you to get involved in, every denomination of church (including a Mosque and a Buddhist temple). Even with all this, home prices are very affordable and the quality is generally very good. We have been blessed in this area with a large number of quality home builders. If you are looking for a great place to relocate in Middle Tennessee, I think Smyrna should be at the top of your list.
