SO OVERRATED! -
3/21/2021I've lived in Fort Myers for 15 years and am ready to get out. I don't understand why anyone comes here, because the beaches are horrible, ruined by Lake Okeechobee. This area is too small for all the tourists that invade the beaches from Nov.-April and take over. Traffic and crime are a nightmare and police hard to find. Enjoy at your risk!

Not what I'd hoped for......... -
6/28/2006Too many people in a small area, impossible to get to the beach in the winter months. Could've been nice, b.t.(before tourists), but has become overrun with snowbirds. Expensive and so not worth it. Time for a change.
