Dallas, TX

Much better locations in USA - 7/9/2018
Funny listening to these good ole Texas boys defend the dang city that they and their families hale from. Dallas is a SEGREGATED city of haves and have nots. Not a community oriented place.

DFW is NOT a pleasant place to live.

Cons:
*Weather
*Boring ass conservative politics - granted the women are beautiful there but don’t expect to get any reciprocal love without first shelling out some cash$$$$
*Lack of social programs
*TRAFFIC
*Pretentious jerks
*TRAFFIC
*Lots of proselytizing and in your face religious fanaticism
*Overrated economy
*Underestimated cost of living (food, car maintenance - in some cities drive 5 miles and you’ve traversed the city, DFW you’re still in uptown/highland park, lack of free public activities)
*TRAFFIC with car-obsessed elitist philistine jerks (“30k millionaire”)
*Hard to make friends - you have to drive an hour just to see them
*No accommodating public transportation infrastructure to speak of.
*Completely void of any authentic culture. You’ve got wanna be rednecks that are actually prissy city boys who simply adore their racist and elitist culture and upbringing. *The only real cultural focus in DFW is money. It’s all anybody wants, too bad people don’t know that their earnings are coming at the expense of living in a truly awful city??....er, I mean.......”metroplex”.

The wealthy in Dallas will obviously enjoy their city. But I’m being perfectly honest I’d rather be a poor man in either a west or east coast city than a wealthy Dallasite.

The only reason anyone moves to most of these Texas cities is they believe the lie they are sold about the general lower cost of living (which is exaggerated). I enjoy a much higher quality of life currently in Boston while earning less income and spending a FRACTION I used to have to spend in DFW.

Pros (just for the sake of fairness):
*the fast food (but this is also a con lol)
*the recreation centers in the suburban cities
*the women ARE beautiful
