6/11/2017Beautiful historic town on the CT Shoreline. Incredible community, excellent schools, and every amenity you can think of right at your fingertips. The downtown area, the historic Guilford Green is the center of it all. An eclectic mix of old and new shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee bars, markets, hardware store-- There is something for everyone. Family friendly and a place where everybody knows your name, and your dog too. Unless of course you prefer to keep a low profile. In which case that is also respected and honored. Beautiful town beaches for residents. Old money keeps the atmosphere upscale but accessible to all and not pretentious. We're a bit preppy, but we're a coastal town 90 minutes from NYC. I think that's to be expected. We also have a vibrant artist community.
