1/13/2012mmm..Have you notice Mooney Blvd where you will find many shopping malls on that street? I am a new comer to Visalia area. I love to go to prosperity Ave where have my favorite stores like Walmart, 99 cent store, Target and K mart, etc. I used to live in Los Angeles where the Summer weather also really hot and it can reached up to 104F, too.

1/9/2010Really!! I was in San Jose about 2 months ago and it did not look so bad when I was in downtown San Jose, except the traffic jam over the 101 freeway.. Yes, there were plenty of old buildings near the downtown area ,but I haven't seen any homeless people yet. I found that many brand new vitnamese shopping centers or strip malls opened in the outskirt of San Jose. Sooner or later, it will turn into a Vitnamese town.

1/9/2010bty, I don't understand how people who live in San Jose area. In Los Angeles, people are making about half what you guy make over in San Jose ,and we still able to fulfil our obligation and make end meets. We are struggling,too. However, we manage to find cheap apartment, to hunt for cheap grocery and to live frugally
