Anatolia is Great! The rendering plant is not! -
3/27/2022This city has two sides. If your thinking about moving to this area, look only in Anatolia. The houses are newer, nicer schools / parks, and close proximity to just about everything. 20-25 minutes from down town, 15 minutes from Folsom, and access to Sunrise Blvd which is littered with restaurants / shopping.
I have lived in Anatolia off of Sunrise for a little over a year and my neighborhood is so quite, its almost boring. No crime, no constant sirens, decent neighbors, and you could buy a really good sized home on a good sized lot for decent $$$. My only complaint is the rendering plant. When they are producing, it puts a smell in the air that is unbearable, especially if your sensitive to smells (I am). After dealing with the odor on/off for a year, I will probably move because of it. Other than this, I like the area a lot.
