Ranch-raised, I come from a long line of hard-working, die-hard, gut-it out, early risers. I was born in Sacramento, grew up in Elk Grove until I was ten and moved with my family to Eastern Oregon, where I graduated High School in Burns. I attended College in Powell Wyoming, Competed on their rodeo team in the Bareback riding and Team Roping as a walk-on before I was awarded a scholarship. I competed for several years professionally after college. After a near-fatal injury, I went back to the cattle business, built up a little bunch of cattle of my own and built a cattle management company. After several successful years I had the chance to quit abusing my body and learn to make a living "inside". My family had always traded on the futures market, I understood the stock market and investments, so I got my Securities license and worked as a Financial Advisor with American Express, and then on to A.G Edwards as a Broker/Advisor.
I have always loved real estate, and again took a leap of faith when I changed careers in 2001. My first 'gig' was as an Agents' Assistant (didn't even know there was such a thing) for a listing mega-agent in Granite Bay, Ca.; where I set listing appointments on the phone for my lead agent (Expireds and FSBO's... using the phone skills I had learned as a stockbroker) and also door knocked typically 700 to 1000 doors a week.
From there I moved to another team where I was their top listing agent, learned all I could, and moved on again to open my own office at Keller Williams in Folsom.
I love to learn, and I believe we as agents can do and be and have much more by working together, sharing our experiences and knowledge with one another.
I have put together an awesome team of like-minded, forward-thinking, hard working, motivated agents who I am very proud to be associated with.
We all love helping people, have strong families, big goals and that little extra something that gets us to the office early...
It seems that the more we learn, the more we grow and the more we do; the more the horizons open up to us and reveal the vast possibilities of this business.
