Very Excited about Moving to Sioux Falls from Mesq -
1/20/2006After vacationing in SFSD Sept 2005 - I was smitten. I began searching the SF housing market and put my TX home on the market in Oct 2005. As of this date, my family will be moving to SF Feb 2006. Having purchased an older established home in the TutHill section of SF, I am overjoyed. The expectation of becoming one of the smiling faces in the one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited - makes my heart soar. A TX native, I have lived in CA, GA and overseas, so I am not exactly a worldly person. However there is just "something" about Sioux Falls. The river, the downtown, that mall...! The trees, and yes, the people. I felt drawn to this place, Sioux Falls. To live in a land where their buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope are sometimes right in your backyard...! The snow.. now that is really a bonus. Texas snow is the equivilant dust. TX year round summers are depressing and create a harsh enviroment to live and breathe in. South Dakota, the Empire of the Sioux Nation, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park... there is no end to the beauty within the boarders of this great state. I was born a Texas but I am smart enought to CHOOSE to be a South Dakotan...!
