re: Lancaster Independent School District-LISD -
7/11/2018As the parent of two current LISD students and one LHS graduate who is excelling in college, I have been pleased with the school district, academics and leadership. LISD is a student focused school district and those efforts have resulted in better test scores and outside investment in district programs. Lancaster schools are strongly supported by the community. My children's education is a high priority. Along with being a highly involved parent and the other factors I listed before, any student can succeed in LISD or any district.

A place with true character -
7/11/2018The city of Lancaster, Texas has a lot of character and a proud history. We have a lot of new businesses popping up and most of the neighborhoods in Lancaster are attractive. The people are hardworking and friendly. The local public schools have improved significantly and enrollment has increased. There are also alternative options available (public charters, private schools) that weren't present in the past.
