7/17/2016It would be a great place to live if it weren't for the low income people moving to the poorer areas of muhlenberg township and ruining the failed school system.
Its a good place to retire or not have kids.
The only crime that occurs here is the occasional robbery, occasional vandalism, and most frequently; disturbing the peace.

7/17/2016Muhlenberg township WAS a gr8 place to live a bit ago, but many low income families from Reading moved here and that is reflected in all the discount stores in the area. Many stores closed because of this.. A mall was built on the fifth st highway in the 70's and it is currently a mostly dead mall.
Best areas to live in muhlenberg are; Muhlenberg Park, West of route 61 but east of Laurel Run(Waterway). Riverview Park is also a great place to live here.

1/9/2016Wilson School District is one of the best in berks county
You will probably do 75% of your shopping in wyomissing which is a suburb closer to reading city. Wyomissing is about 5-18 minutes away from homes in this township.
