Population 22,000???? -
7/8/2009The population has not been 22,000 in quite a number of years. It stands at approximately 60,000 as of 2009. All in all a great place to live with a fair amount of rural charachter. Of course, it is just a 10 miles north of DFW airport so there is a fair amount of noise anytime the wind is blowing out of the north. (The planes depart north bound when the wind is out of the north)
Also, there are pollution issues being in the DFW area. Schools are good, traffic not so much.
