5/10/2009The pollen arrives in biblical proportions during the spring. Most families have a personal relationship with an allergist and there seem to be a lot of kids with asthma. Our first year here was rocky, but we have adjusted to the air quality. I have seasonal allergies, and we work through it. I would visit in the springtime, and gauge your wife's response.

5/10/2009There are a lot of great things to say about Chattanooga; climate and cost of living are good. We have found there is too much emphasis on church here, and religion is over the top. You see billboards for doctors with "christian compassion" and prayer enters meetings at my husband's office. It is a bit over the top for us. Most people are Baptist and happy to recruit the non-believers.
