The good and the bad -
5/16/2007Let me start by saying that there are a lot of friendly people here and I enjoy the small shopping area where you will certainly run into 10 folks you know just at the Kroger. That said, I see a lot of room for improvement here. For starters, everyone drives, all of the time (especially giant SUVs, this is Texas) and they have to because there are no side walks. Our little town center would be much better if we could ride our bikes to the ice cream stand. Second, there are no large parks for walking or organized sports near by. If your child is in Cy-Fair sports you will be driving no less than 30 min to a ball field ( and that would be in light traffic). The schools are good, but they do that open concept (no walls or doors between classrooms) going on which I do not like.
