You WILL have Peace of Mind here! -
9/8/2018Extremely safe. This day and age safety has to be a priority, not only for kids but for yourself. Husband and I have no kids and moved out of Murrieta to San Diego to be closer to our jobs and enjoy being young. Well we thought we would only really be sacrificing space, but we quickly have realized everything we took for granted in Murrieta. Things like SAFETY!! Such a safe place for all. I hate walking the streets of San Diego at night, its something you just avoid. Why live with this anxiety? Murrieta is peacefully QUIET. Getting a wink of sleep in all this construction, constant police sirens because of crime, air planes back and forth, car accidents every 5 seconds, and military exercises or night jet flights...is nearly impossible. Quality of life has severely decreased since moving from Murrieta to San Diego. Another thing is CLEANLINESS! Murrieta is so nice and clean, people rarely litter and take care of the area. We thought San Diego would be great since we are young and could enjoy the nightlife and activities. Everywhere is dirty, homeless people on the streets is just depressing the reality of our society, noise is neverending, crime is ridiculous (2 shootings this past week), very violent. After all these experiences, I rather sit home safely in Murrieta and go to Temecula for Baileys and Old Town nightlife which is CLEAN, SAFER, and so much more preferred!!! I now have so much anxiety that any noise concerns me, a nice thing about Murrieta is it's easy to find out what's going on and the seriousness of any incident. In San Diego you kinda just hope the noises you hear are not serious and the worlds not coming to an end. I wish I was kidding but if you've never lived in Murrieta, you should try it, then go back to whatever other city and you'll see the difference. Once my lease is up I'm going back to SAFETY ! No longer will I accept mediocrity for my safety. Commuting can definitely be improved and the government will work towards that. But if i have to compare my anxiety in traffic commuting to Murrieta vs my anxiety just sitting at home in San Diego. I'd take traffic any day.
