Well yeah, living in Mira Mesa is terrible. I had a sublet there for 3 months and then got the heck out. Not sure what your commute is if it takes hours because the median commute time for the city is a little over 20 minutes. It's rained a bunch here this winter but why would you live here if you wanted a huge lush lawn? If you live in a real San Diego neighborhood with character, you'd feel a lot different about the city.
