Crazy expensive place - 10/12/2021
This is not an easy city to live in. I don't know where you get your data for housing costs, but it's far from accurate. There are no $470.00 studios. People pay $600.00 a month for a motel room. 1 bedroom apartments start at about $1,500.00 and that's on the cheap side. And, there is a housing crisis. We don't have any apartments or houses for rent most months, and buyers engage in cash bidding wars on existing houses, then turn them into AirBnbs. There are no places to live here unless you're a tourist. If I ever lose my apartment I'll have to move to another city.
