1/1/2017Cocoa benefits = super low property taxes, very little hurricane damage in last 40 years, grow anything (we grow 40% of what we eat in a regular neighborhood lot) 17 different fruits and 22 different vegetables, the single best recreational path I have ever seen (and I have been all over the country 700,000 miles total by various vehicles and also traveling in a Vanabode across 40+ states for 5 months at a time) along River Road 27 miles of shady riverfront on one side and mansions on the other at 20 mph perfect for rollerblading, biking, running, walking. HUGE boating and fishing opportunities from fresh water to brackish to salt, rivers, lakes and ocean are all here for free, some of the best dive restaurants I have ever eaten in (same steak and cheese sub for 31 years that's how good it is at Odyssey) incredible clean (free parking) beaches in Cape Canaveral 6 miles from here with world class Cruise port and camping, Historic Cocoa Village is stunning with free parking STILL! If you can take the humidity, heat, sun and rain, Cocoa is an absolute paradise for the price.
