8/19/2021I've lived here for 11 years, and you do have to get used to the state. What I've learned is that people here are oftentimes just weird and treat everyone like the "fake-nice" people do in other places. I thought the exact same thing. For the first year I lived here, I wanted to run away (I was still under 18) and never come back. But after about ten months or so, I stopped giving a shi* about what other people said or did. I actually think that allowed me to become a better chemistry student. I was really good–like REALLY good. But then life got in the way and I was injured. I'm sorry, world! I was going to bless you by finding a cure for cancer!

8/17/2021I like the shopping areas and the feel of the neighborhoods. The climate is awesome–four seasons, but it's not as cold as Michigan. I could be wrong, but it feels safe. I'm glad I have a house here.
