North Bend, WA
Snow/Rain Amounts are off -
7/10/2014The city of North Bend does not typically receive 60" of snow a year. Nor do we get over 100+" of rain.
In downtown we get around 60" of rain per year, and about 13" of that falls as snow. You may get a little more than that if you live in the hills around the town, but not to the extent that the climate category is reporting here.
I suspect the cause for this discrepancy is that, if I recall correctly, one of the weather stations out east a few miles as well as up on a mountain side, which of course lends you to having more rain/snow than what you have downtown.
