10/21/2010We moved to the Garnet Valley school district after comparing Pennsylvania school statistics, and discovering that this general area had a large selection of high quality schools, low crime, a higher than national average family income, and a well-educated population. You have access within 2 hours to Baltimore, New York City, New Jersey and Delaware beaches, and the Poconos. This area has a "true" 4 seasons: Winter with snow, a long spring, a summer hot enough to go to the beach, and a long fall. There is architechural diversity, with both old and new neighborhoods, historic homes, and small farms. Nearby Media and West Chester have cute downtown areas with many cultural events.
