Safe, Convenient, and Something for Everyone -
1/16/2022Oceanside may not have the best of anything, but it has just about everything. Long Beach Road, the main thoroughfare running through Oceanside, will take you to the beach 10 minutes to the south, the fabulous restaurants of Rockville Centre 10 minutes to the north, and just about every type of store you could want in between. Oceanside has a wonderful hospital, a comfortable LIRR station where the trains will get you into NYC in 35-40 minutes, great schools, and low crime. It really is a convenient town with something for everyone. Of course, the main complaints are the same as for all of Long Island -- taxes, housing costs, and traffic. But depending on what's important to you, it's worth it.
