Pensacola, FL

High Crime, Low Income. Not Just Opinion.. Stats - 9/28/2021
Lived in Pensacola 6 years almost 7.

Pensacola has gone to crap there’s just no question about it. You can see what people’s priorities and interests are just by looking at the kinds of shops /stores there are because it indicates what the demand is for certain items or services.

So take this into account:

It’s near beaches but not really any
1. decent dive shops
2. kayak rentals
3. pro fishing gear places
4. Surf shops
5. Good tours

If you like keeping in shape there are no real gyms that offer anything like tennis, or racquetball or indoor pool area like you have in other cities. The ones that are in Pensacola are outdated.

There are however plenty of these:

1. Tons of tattoo shops everywhere (a lot of times the parking lots there are full, if you see the way people in Pensacola look you will know why. Not uncommon to see people with face tattoos and females with ghetto thigh tattoos, full sleeves and all around looking trashy, many get sleeves to cover their track marks on their arms from abusing drugs)
2. Stores that sell medical marijuana (People like to pretend they have a medical need in order to legally get high because in Pensacola people don’t really have any ambition and don’t take initiative to get a career they are content working just enough to support their habits, that’s if they even work. Most sit around all day likely watching TV and getting high/drunk while on welfare)
3. Pawn shops
4. Stores specializing in discount cigarettes
5. Thrift shops everywhere selling junk
6. Liquor stores everywhere
7. Vape shops
8. Places selling Kratom

I swear Every single time I go to the convenience store to pump gas (at random times of day and night) if there are people in front of me in line I can bet with certainty they are buying at least 1 of these 6 items

1. Swisher cigars (for rolling their marijuana / dope blunts) Usually g**** flavor. I know a guy who owns a convenience store and they order more g**** than other flavors, He also said they go through tons of Black & Mild’s. facts.
2. Beer
3. Lottery tickets (One of the favorite “investment” vehicles of trailer trash)
4. Vape
5. Kratom
6. Cigarettes

This is almost guaranteed! The people buying this junk are usually overweight, stink are slow to pay and inconsiderate of anyone behind them.

Living in Pensacola is like living in one big sprawling trailer park that includes Escambia County and Santa Rosa. Only half decent place in whole area is Destin but I already have noticed the uptick in homeless drug addict activity in Destin compared to even a year ago so if they don’t get a handle on it then it will become just an overpriced town with as many junkies as Pensacola.

So in reality the whole area is pretty much full of low quality people in every part of town. I wouldn’t say it’s EVERYONE, but definitely the majority. I think people with careers end up moving because they get sick of dealing with and looking at lazy welfare minded people who don’t want to work and are just addicted to drugs and content living off welfare and causing problems. You will see tons of barefoot trailer trash everywhere. You can see the all-around lack of self-respect. Same people make excuses for the junkies who create crime and anyone who thinks the homeless junkies are not hostile or think they don’t cause trouble are just living in denial.

I think it has a lot to do with the way they are raised. Their parents were like that so they don’t take any initiative to try and be better, so they end up like that and their kids see it and start acting the same. So it’s a perpetual cycle of degenerate behavior and then they try to blame other outside forces and pretend they are victims of the system or oppression when in reality they are just victims of their own poor choices but dont have enough discipline or self respect to admit it.
