I have retired and need to relocate from Marin County, CA to a waay cheaper place. Is there a town in Washington, for example, that is at all similar to Sausalito, CA? The best I can come up with--via my PC which is of course limiting--is Gig Harbor. It seems maritime but still close to a big city, Seattle. Any advice would be great. Thanks! --va

It is paradise! But ahh...also very expensive to live here. If you can find a condo under $500K you are lucky...and it is after all, a condo, complete with monthly condo fee that goes up and up. Would like to leave, but where else does paradise exist?
