Best Place To Live In Oklahoma - 2/6/2009
Bixby is Oklahoma's fastest growing city since 2000 with a 39.4% growth rate. The last 3 years Bixby's commercial retail is catching up with the residential growth. The SpiritBank Event Center and Regal Plaza has opened up with one of Oklahoma's finest developments where one can shop, dine, stay, and play all in one development. Bixby has opened up over 17 new eating places in the last 12 months giving its citizens more choices for eating out in their community.

South Village a $50 million dollar river development with be starting in early 2009 that will have retail, multi-family, entertainment, and a hotel that will lead into a 100 acre sports complex that will be the finest in Oklahoma featuring 8 baseball fields, 8 softball fields, 13 soccer fields, a new international soccer field, one of the states largest super playgrounds, a splash pad, bocce courts, sand volleyball, horseshoe pits, and a multi-purpose building for youth registrations and indoor winter practices for all sports and home to the parks department.
