Goldsboro - 7/24/2017
Goldsboro is a nice homey place to live. I know a lot of people that move out of the town and come back because there is family here. There is a plenty of beaches to go to about an hour or hour in a half drive. When living off base you will find that rent or mortgage is better priced 15 minutes from base because it is not directly into town. There are lots of places to eat and the downtown area is building up for center street jams while school is out, and art areas. They do have a couple of brewery's downtown to drink your favorite beers, lots of military like to go to Brewmasters. Raleigh is about an hour drive and has malls to shop.
